Built to be useful.
LIV is a leadership accelerator and a professional community in one. Every gathering, pathway, and introduction is designed to leave you with something you can use: a skill, a relationship, a resource, or a next step.
To develop the next generation of business leaders by connecting ambitious professionals with the people, knowledge, resources, and experiences they need to grow their careers, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and make a meaningful impact within their organizations and communities.
Meet James Loehr

I’m James Loehr. I’m a business leader, mentor, operator, and someone who has always gotten more satisfaction from helping people grow than from simply hitting another number on a scorecard. My career has taken me through hospitality, transportation, aviation, multi-site operations, and executive leadership. But the part I’m most proud of isn’t a revenue number or a title—it’s the number of people I’ve had the opportunity to develop, promote, and watch go on to lead teams of their own.
My career wasn’t a straight line, and I didn’t always know what the next step was supposed to look like. I’ve made mistakes, taken on roles before I felt completely ready, navigated difficult leaders and difficult decisions, relocated for opportunities, and had moments where I questioned what I wanted the next chapter of my career to be. What I learned is that talent alone isn’t always enough. Access matters. Relationships matter. Mentors matter. Sometimes one conversation with the right person changes the direction of a career.Say hello on LinkedInWhat you can expect from LIV.

We offer education about professional credentials and build pathways toward them. We start with three that matter to rising leaders.
Credentials are awarded by their issuing organizations, for example SHRM for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP. LIV is an independent community that helps members prepare. If LIV ever works with a training provider, we will say so openly.
Learn from leaders who have done the work.
Each evening is built around an experienced leader sharing practical lessons, followed by open conversation. Our first speaker is announced with the date.
